Electrolytes are minerals in your horse’s blood and other body fluids that carry an electric charge. It is important to maintain the balance of electrolytes because they affect nerve impulses, blood pH, muscle action, and other critical processes. Horses lose electrolytes every time they sweat, and horses working hard or in competitive situations can lose up to 50 grams of electrolytes per hour, which they must quickly replenish in order to remain at peak performance.
New Formula 707 Formula 707 LifeCare™ Restore Paste is the fast and easy way to give your horse the calcium, potassium, magnesium, sodium, and chloride needed to restore electrolyte balance.
INGREDIENTS: Amino Acid Chelates with Electrolytes; Calcium, 600 mg; Magnesium, 600 mg; Potassium, 2 g; Sodium Chloride, 4 g; L-Glutamine, 100 mg; and Amino Acid, 22g in a molasses base.
Dose: Insert paste as far to the rear of the mouth as practical. Deliver entire syringe, or give half one hour before the event and half immediately after. After administration you may rinse the horse’s mouth with syringe filled with water if desired.
We recommend use at room temperature–do not freeze.
